Euer Supremacy 1914 Team

- Factory pop up in the province view has now a button that leads you to the build menu.
- The build time for Factories Lvl.1 are now correctly displayed as 2 days instead of 4 days.
- Queuing buildings when one level already is in the queue now only creates one entry instead of two.
- Building Fortresses in the province view: “build Lvl.1” is no longer displayed as “build lvl.2”.
- Building & construction tooltip now shows the day of availability again.
- Players are no longer able to get millions of resources by using an exploit.

Empires Rise and Fall: 1716 AD
Look back over the past, with its changing empires that rose and fell, and you can foresee the future, too. - Marcus Aurelius
The year is 1716 Anno Domini. The world is once again in turmoil, witnessing the wrath of empires and men alike. Following the footsteps of previous centuries, the 18th is just as bloody and brutal, if not even worse. The Habsburgs and the Bourbons, arch enemies for centuries, both claimed the throne of Spain. Spain, which had been ruled by Charles II, a Habsburg King in all right, was thrown into a cauldron of war and blood. Before his death, Charles II had named his grandnephew Philip, Duke of Anjou as his heir. This move would provide a clear connection between both the French and Spanish thrones, due to Philip being grandson of the current French King. Of course, many European powers were against this, for it increased both the power and might of the Bourbon family and France, a country that was made great by skilful and careful guidance and warfare of the Sun King, Louis XIV. Due to this, the War of Spanish Succession began. The war lasted for fourteen bloody years in which many countries of Europe got involved. Italy, Spain and Southern Germany became battlegrounds where men fought each other to their last breaths in an attempt to brutally murder their opponent. It was obvious that by 1714, the war was coming to an end as each country had depleted their treasuries and manpower was running short. The War ended a year later with series of treaties that marked the end of hegemony of Habsburg Spain in Europe. While the empire still remains, it is significantly weaker and under new dynasty, the Bourbons of France. To much satisfaction of the Sun King, Philip V was recognized as the new King of Spain. However, this did not come without a price, as France had to relinquish a lot of Bourbon influence in Italy, particularly in Naples. Though no longer ruling the Spanish Empire, the Habsburgs were not left empty-handed. They have acquired Spanish possessions in Europe, namely the Lowlands and Italy, making their Crownlands one of the richest and strongest in Europe, despite the bloody war.
In the north, the great Russian Bear still wages war against Sweden. For centuries, Russians have expanded mercilessly, establishing a strong and well connected Empire. Russia’s Tsars, one after the other, expanded the borders without any real threat. However, Russians have finally found its match, as the great Kingdom of Sweden have gotten in the way this time, both battling to establish their own rule over the Baltics. Swedish Kingdom, a strong and well equipped country, is a legacy of King Gustav Adolf the Great, Lion of the North. Now under new dynasty, it still proves to be a solid match for Russia and Charles XII showed to be quite a capable and skilled commander, foiling the plans of Tsar Peter of Russia in establishing an even stronger Empire by expanding further into Europe, as well as East, towards last remaining Siberian lands. The Great Northern War hit a stalemate, with both sides refusing to give up their claims. Only time will tell how this war will end, but one thing is certain: War of Spanish Succession and Great Northern War marked one of the bloodiest beginnings of new century ever. A century where Empires rise and fall in a heartbeat.

Their skilful politics of marriages before wars brought them many benefits, however it also caused them to wage one of the deadliest wars in European and their own history. The War of Spanish Succession ended with them losing the Crown of Spain, however they gained numerous Spanish possessions in Europe, propelling them to ranks of Great Power.
The Ottoman Empire [The Ottoman Empire/30 provinces] - UMER (Land Domination)
Ruler: Ahmed III
Noble House: Osman
Titles: Sultan
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Additional Information: After the defeat at the gates of Vienna in 1699, Ottoman Empire lost a significant part of influence in European affairs, slowly starting to decline. The Empire is still vast and therefore managed to retain status of Great Power, but it lingers ever more as the tensions within and outside the Empire are rising. It is still very much capable in defending its borders from the foreign vultures, however the lack of technology Europeans have is taking its toll in wars.
Colonies/Vassals:
Egypt Eyalet [Egypt/10 provinces] -
Ruler: Abdi Pasha
Noble House: N/A
Titles: Governor
Government Type: Ottoman Vassal government
Additional Information: N/A
The Chinese Empire [Chinese Empire/30 provinces] -
Ruler: Kangxi Emperor
Noble Hous e: Qing
Titles: Emperor
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Additional Information: By the end of the 17th century, China was at its greatest height of confidence and political control since the Ming dynasty. The Kangxi Emperor's reign brought about long-term stability and relative wealth after years of war and chaos. He initiated the period known as the "Prosperous Era of Kangxi and Qianlong" or "High Qing", which made China a Great Power in Asia, rivalled only by rising Tsardom of Russia, and most recently, the colonial ambitions of Europeans. Chinese Empire is vast, armies are numerous, but it lacks the technology to compete with the modern European firearms. Skilful politics will be needed to preserve and expand the Empire.
Secondary Powers:
Kingdom of Portugal [Portuguese Angola/25 provinces] -
Ruler:John V
Noble House: Braganza
Titles: King
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Additional Information: John V's reign saw the rise of the prestige of Portugal and its monarchy, which had been in decline among European courts, to a new level of prosperity and wealth. Portuguese Sun King, as he is known, has a lot in common with the French King in terms of ambition. If Portugal keeps grabbing at this pace, it will surely become a Great Power soon enough.
Colonies/Vassals:
Colonial Brazil [United States of Brazil/22 provinces] -
Ruler: N/A
Noble House: N/A
Titles: Governor, Viceroy
Government Type: Colonial administration
Additional Information: N/A
Dutch Republic [Dutch East Indies/25 provinces] -
Ruler: N/A
Noble House: Orange-Nassau
Titles: Stadtholder, Grand Pensionary
Government Type: Confederative/Merchant republic
Additional Information: After the death of William III, there was rift between the Dutch officials, House of Orange-Nassau and foreign powers on whom should inherit him. House of Orange-Nassau has been Stadtholder of Dutch Republic for centuries, but strangely enough, the Golden Age hit the Dutch Republic while Grand Pensionary’s ruled the country. Player can choose to play as either one of the Grand Pensionary or just pick someone from the House of Orange-Nassau.
Kingdom of Sweden [Sweden/21 provinces] -
Ruler: Charles XII
Noble House: Pfalz-Zweibrücken
Titles: King
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Additional Information: Charles XII might be the only one worthy of Gustav Adolph the Great reputation. The young King had a major task ahead of him almost immediately upon coronation – tackling the beast from the east, the mighty Russian bear. Peter I of Russia had ambitions on the Baltic states, but the Swedish government and King Charles XII also had their own plans for the region. That bore to a war almost as deadly as the Spanish Succession War. Currently, there is a stalemate between the two Empires and two rulers, but one thing is certain, North will witness the full might of the two armies pretty soon.
Kingdom of Denmark-Norway [Greenland/20 provinces] -
Ruler: Frederick IV
Noble House: Oldenburg
Titles: King
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Additional Information: Danish monarchs never forgave the dissolution of Kalmar Union and tried to reassert its domination over Sweden numerous times, every time ending in failure. Perhaps the Great Norther War is another chance for such ambition?
The Mughal Empire [British India/18 provinces] -
Ruler: Farrukh-siyar
Noble House: Timurid
Titles: Shah, Emperor, Padishah
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Additional Information: One of the three “gunpowder empires”, along with Persia and Ottoman Empire, the Mughals have a reputation of fierce warriors. Their knowledge in gunpowder and the blood of Tamerlane coursing through their veins, gave them an upper hand against many of their foes. However, they face a difficult task in keeping rebellious Sikh population at bay, as well as rising imperialism and colonialism of European powers. So far, the Mughal Emperors have tolerated European presence, granting them trading centres throughout the Empire, but for how long will the mercy of Europeans last?
Shahdom of Persia [Persia/17 provinces] -
Ruler: Sultan Husayn
Noble House: Safavid
Titles: Shah, Shahanshah
Government Type: Theocratic monarchy
Additional Information: One of the “gunpowder empires”, Persian Empire consolidate its power under Safavid dynasty. Their knowledge and connection with the East made them one of the earliest Empires to use gunpowder, which helped the Shah’s of Persia to establish a strong and safe Empire, crushing enemies and foes in swift military campaigns. However, the reign of Abbas I saw the Golden Age of Safavid Persia and with his death, the Shahdom fell into decline. Now Persians have to fight both internal and external enemies alike, in what will be a fight for life or death and survival of Safavid dynasty.
Tokugawa Shogunate [Japan/14 provinces] -
Ruler: Tokugawa Yoshimune
Noble House: Tokugawa
Titles: Shogun
Government Type: Feudal stratocracy
Additional Information: Emperor in Japan is only a ceremonial figure. Real rulers of feudal Japan are the Shoguns. Tokugawa clan managed to unite almost all of the Japan, however few clans and the Emperor himself, based in Kyoto, still oppose his supreme rule. Player can only unite Japan and proclaim the Empire of Japan when he conquers what’s left of Japanese provinces.
Kingdom of Prussia [German Empire/11 provinces] -
Ruler: Frederick William I
Noble House: Hohenzollern
Titles: King in Prussia
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Additional Information: Carefully styled King in Prussia, as to not offend Holy Roman Emperor and the Habsburgs, Frederick William I has managed to create a true power out of small Prussia. Unlike the previous Prussian rulers, he invested a lot of Prussian treasury into Prussian army and bureaucracy, making a true soldier-state out of his domains. While Prussia is one of the smallest countries in Europe, it has an army twice its size that is extremely disciplined and well trained. Anyone seeing Prussia as just another small duchy that is ripe for the picking is surely mistaken. Player can only form German Empire when he owns all of German provinces.
Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth [White Ruthenian Republic/10 provinces] -
Ruler: Stanisław I
Noble House: Leszczyński
Titles: King, Grand Duke
Government Type: Elective monarchy
Additional Information: A member of a powerful Polish magnate family, Stanislaw rose to power at the beginning of Great Northern War. Prior to the war, PL Com. Was invaded by both Sweden and Russia. The two empires have pretensions on the PL lands, while PL has its own interest in the Baltics. However, the golden age of PL is long gone and now all that remains is a fragile union between Poland and Lithuania, while the predators lurk outside the borders. Player is in charge of Elective monarchy. That means that after the death of ruler, player has selection of several kings that will reign PL in future. It can be someone from the actual country, or could be some dukes or even kings of other countries, such as Sweden, Austria, Prussia etc. Whoever takes the throne will make PL closer to that country (if such king is elected). I expect a lot of intrigues and diplomacy here, maybe even few wars for succession, so despite being a smaller country, it is still quite interesting and important.
The Kazakh Khanate [Russian Kazakhstan/10 provinces] -
Ruler: Abul Khair Khan
Noble House: N/A
Titles: Khan
Government Type: Khanate
Additional Information: N/A
The Republic of Venice [Greece/8 provinces] - Kuril (Trade Domination)
Ruler: Giovanni II Cornaro
Noble House: N/A
Titles: Doge
Government Type: Merchant republic
Additional Information: N/A
The Papal States [Italy/3 provinces] -
Ruler: Clement XI
Noble House: N/A
Titles: Pope
Government Type: Theocracy
Additional Information: N/A
Rules and Gameplay:
As I’m a fan of realistic armies and battles and a slower paced RP’s, I like to implement some features that are not tiresome to track yet fun and good asset to RP. Hopefully this RP will last long enough to have a smooth and solid transition through all the phases. Before you jump to conclusions and start shouting about restrictions, please continue reading.
1. Maximum number of infantry is calculated by a limit of 10 units per province. 10inf * 5 provinces = 50 inf., 10 inf*30 provinces = 300 inf. etc. Colonies and vassals can only have 100 infantry units despite the number of territories. They cannot have any mechs unless their master gives them!!!
2. Players are able to build only 10 lvl 2 forts. This is subject to change as the game progresses, so fear not. For now, it’s only limited because of the Dominations (explained further below).
3. Artillery is limited to 10 artillery per country. This is subject to change as well, as the game progresses.
4. Armored Cars are limited to 1 AC per province. So 10 province = 10 AC’s. They represent light cavalry.
5. Factories are limited to lvl 1. There is no restriction on amount, but unless you have one of the Dominations, you cannot upgrade them (explained further below).
6. Subs, planes, balloons and railguns are not allowed until Admin says so. Railways and tanks are available if you have the right Domination (explained further down).
7. Ships are limited to 2 LC’s per harbour. BB’s are available, but not for everyone and will be explained later on. They are also only used on open seas and oceans, while LC’s are used for both closed and open seas. BB’s cannot bomb shores because there is nothing to counter it, while LC’s can.
8. The amount of land you can annex from each war in case of victory is 3 if the opponent/s have 20+ territories, 2 if the enemy has 15-20 territories and 1 if the enemy has less than 15 territories. In case of Colonial Wars, the amount of provinces you can take is always 3 (colonial provinces only, not mainland).
9. Meat shielding ships isn’t allowed, unless you are Naval Domination (explained further below).
10. Please be fair, play for fun and obey game admin.
Dominations:
Since most of the RP is limited to better represent the timeline, I have decided to implement a feature from one of the older RP’s here, Hawshire’s Europa 1750, with a few changes to suit the timeline. There will be three Dominations from which players can choose, each offering a unique set of abilities, improvements and upgrades. Players can choose from any of the three, but have to choose carefully on what suits them best. The Dominations were introduced to give smaller nations a fighting chance as well as make things a bit more interesting since the limitations will pretty much slow the game down (which was the aim, as I dislike large battles and fast paced tempo). This game will hopefully be filled with players who desire the same and who won’t mind if the x-factor sometimes decide the outcome of the battle. We are here to have fun after all, not just play the game. The Dominations are as following:
Administrative/Trade Domination
Land Domination
Naval Domination
1. Administrative/Trade Domination
This Domination is a balance between Land and Naval Dominations, with few unique abilities to simulate a trading Empire. Apart from having the regular army and nation setup, this Domination gives the player:
1. Shrewd Commerce Practice - Ability to build lvl 4 factories everywhere to boost resource production.
2. Scientific Revolution - Ability to industrialize and modernize faster (gets railways faster).
3.Colonial Ventures - Ability to venture into unknown, establishing colonies. Can take 2 colonies every 5 years and up to 8 colonies (this will rise eventually as the RP steadily progresses).
4. Merchant Marine – Ability to have 2 BB’s overall (not per harbour) and 3 LC’s per harbour.
5. Conscripted Garrisons – Ability to have an extra 25 troops to protect its trading Empire.
2. Land Domination
This Domination focuses on land warfare instead of colonial, overseas expansion. Apart from having the regular army and nation setup, this Domination gives the player:
1. Defensive Mentality - Ability to build lvl 4 forts.
2.Improved Foraging - Ability to build lvl 2 factories.
3. Noble Knights – Ability to train heavy cavalry (tanks) up to 10.
4. National Conscripts – Ability to have an extra 50 troops (Army reserves).
5. Superior Firepower – Ability to have an extra 5 artillery.
3. Naval Domination
This Domination focuses on sea warfare and colonial overseas expansion. Apart from having the regular army and nation setup, this Domination gives the player:
1. Grand Navy - Ability to build 1 BB per harbour and 5 LC’s per harbour.
2. Global Empire – Ability to take 5 colonies every 5 years and up to 20 colonies (this will rise eventually).
3. National Trade Policy - Ability to build lvl 3 factories in harbour provinces ONLY.
4. Overseas Exploration - Ability to build 5 lvl 3 forts in colonial possession ONLY (oversea territories and not mainland Europe).
5. Boarding Parties – Ability to train marines (50 extra infantry units that can be used for meat shielding navy. Whether you meat shield 50 BB’s or 1, it is up to you, but you can ONLY use this 50 infantry and not the rest).
Colonization:
Colonization is available to players who have the right Domination (Naval and Trade) and who meet the requirments. The requirment is to have a BB that will act as an exploration ship. Everything needs to be RPed! Players with the Land Domination CANNOT establish colonies of their own. Instead, they need to pay one of the nations to establish it for them. Later on, as the game progresses, everyone will have ability to colonize. The Colonization map shows three colors: Yellow, Orange and Red. These represent the ability to colonize.
Yellow –Colonisable straight away
Orange– Colonisable after 50 years of gameplay
Red – Colonisable after 100 years of gameplay
This is all subject to change and really depends on how the RP will go. Please note that main nations need to be filled up first, so if we do not get enough players for Colonies, all of S. America will become colonisable.
Special rules:
1. Everyone will have to share map with Admin Nation so the regularity of RP can be checked. Rules will be checked and closely monitored every 3-4 days, so please try not to break them.
2. Countries that have 30+ provinces are considered great powers, however there are several factors that enter into contest: First, the number of provinces, second the DE ranking and third the activity of the player as the country running for great power. All three are taken into consideration before promoting/denoting player’s country.
3. There might be some random events made up Game Admin that will target either a specific country or specific continent, region etc. Players are required to roleplay these events.
4. Players can create coalitions to stop aggressive expansions from neighbours. Coalition can be formed up to 5 countries and you cannot be part of multiple Coalitions.
5. Alliances are limited to only 1 Great Power and 2 Secondary Powers for all countries.
6. Prussian Arabia and Austrian Canada are non-existent land, however they will enter into troops count and province number, but WILL NOT BE ATTACKABLE BY OTHERS NOR PLAYERS CAN ATTACK FROM THEM OR TRAIN TROOPS THERE. It basically does not exist and serves only to boost these two nations as they are important for the timeline.
7. Players can turn on barracks to produce as much troops as they can during wartime. This is perceived as forced conscription by the government in order to contribute the war effort. This cannot be used during peacetime, nor can you turn on barracks than declare war. It is used only during the war to boost infantry production. After the war is done, any extra infantry will be disbanded (sent somewhere to sea to be destroyed).
8. Suez and Panama Canal DO NOT exist. Players cannot use them and have to go all the way around Africa or S. America. Any misuse of these will be punished!
Random Events:
Often roleplay can become stagnant due to people not having the guts to go to war, or people simply roleplaying about internal affairs. They can occur at anytime usually when the roleplay has gone a bit sour. These can range from an occurrence of a disease or even a border shooting between two nations to spike some tension. This will give people reasons to roleplay when international diplomacy is diar.
Examples:
- Border disputes (Soldiers raid villages etc.)
- Natural Disasters (earthquakes, floods, fires etc.)
- Diseases
- Inventions
- Religious Zealots
- New Ideologies/Religions
- Accidents for your ruler or heirs. It happens!
- Pirates! (there will be one or more admin nations in the game from where pirates will spawn)
Units:
It is up to every country to name their units but try to stay with cultural names.
Infantry = Infantry
Armoured cars = Light cavalry
Tanks = Heavy cavalry/Elite units
Artillery = Cannons/ Mortars
Cruisers = Frigate’s and trading ships
Battle Ships = Man-o-war’s and later Ship of the Line
Railguns, balloons, submarines and planes will not be used in this roleplay!
Number of battleships and cruisersyou can have is determined by number of harbours you have and the Domination you choose!
Reminder: Only 10 lvl 2 forts are allowed unless it is changed by one of the Dominations.
Heavy tanks will not be used for now. I had several ideas about it which I might implement later on, depending on how the game goes.
Timeline:
1 day = 6 months
This is subject to change to a faster or slower tempo. This game will also hopefully have a smooth time progression where more stuff will be unlocked and available to players, such as more forts, more units, higher building lvl’s and such.
Ladshuffle Map:
http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/i...orld%20Map.jpg
Will probably be done if we get this thing going. It will take aprox. 7-10 days.
Colonization Map:
http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/i...tion%20Map.jpg
Yellow –Colonisable straight away
Orange – Colonisable after 50 years of gameplay
Red– Colonisable after 100 years of gameplay
Special notes:
When applying for a nation, please read everything about it, figure out what Domination would suit you and your nation best and then apply by writing the nation and Domination you want. Please note that if you select some ridiculous Dominations that do not suit your nation, you will be asked to change to appropriate ones. Special thanks to those who reviewed this RP while I was making it and thanks to any RP creator I might’ve borrowed some stuff off. Also if you got any ideas, feel free to post them here.
Special of all special notes:
This game WILL NOT have a skype chat. This is due to players becoming increasingly lazy in terms of Roleplaying. It is rather easy to OOC your way through roleplays because of it. Plus most players spend more time chatting than actually playing. Please refrain from any types of Skype communication and use ingame messages instead to conduct your business. All Admin Announcements will be on forums or in DE.

Troop Split Exploit
It seems the troop split exploit still hasn't been fixed. I figured coming back to this game after a few years absence they might have done something about this. Can't say I am surprised they didn't.
