Greetings to everyone.

It seems that the forums have really dried up in the past few years with regards to rp rounds, and with the revamping of s1914, I feel like we can really get things going again with more interest in the roleplaying aspect of the game.

As we haven't been able to have another 500 player roleplaying round in a while, I would like to put forward a project that myself and some other RPers have been working on.

This is why I would like to formally announce the "Supremacy Universalis II" Project to the s1914 roleplaying community, This round involves a 500 Player map that is privately created for us that will have the capacity for 140 Players, and will include the historical start from the popular strategy game "Europa Universalis IV" in which the historical theme will be medieval and the start date is 1444.

This game will entail medieval historical game mechanics, as well as including the Holy Roman Empire, The Mandate of Heaven, and the Catholic Papacy, and if time allows, the incorporation of the Protestant Reformation.

This is why I would like to make participation in this project available to every individual wishing to participate. If you would like to contribute your time and efforts to making another big round, feel free to check out both the RPU alliance server (https://discord.gg/tBn5bhY) and please feel free to tell us your thoughts and recommendations here on this thread as well. I will take each and every message under careful consideration.

Most importantly, i need to gauge an entire list of membership to submit to the s1914 staff if we get this ball rolling, so if you are interested in joining such an rp idea, it is imperative that you fill out the google form below so that i take your name down as someone who will be participating in the round.

Er werd op de engelse server gevraagd of ik dit nieuws wou verspreiden naar andere servers. Op de EN server willen ze proberen een 500p RP opgestart te krijgen (zie link:)

I won Game 2276072 who has the middle east map, but, it seems, it's offers as reward the basic medal for winning it.
And being surprised since I entered the game for the middle east medal, i checked the name of the game and it was called Supremacy 1914, not Middle East.

It's a bug or it's a practice? Now I am a bit upset wasting my time winning the same medal.
Can I get a swap of medals, since is the same map, it takes 1500 points to win it and ihas no second place as the Middle East? :)

Mit Entsetzen durfte ich eben feststellen, dass die gegnerische Artillerie trotz der Tatsache, dass sie in einen Nahkampf verwickelt worden ist, fröhlich weiter meine Stadt beschießt..-

Mit Logik hat das ganz sicher nichts mehr zu tun und es ist in meinen Augen absolut unrealistisch! Ich bin im Begriff wegen dieser "Logik" meine Schlacht gegen meinen Gegner zu verlieren. Vielen Dank dafür. :heul_helmi:

Es wäre wünschenswert, das Szenario realistischer zu gestalten. Eine Artillerie, die mit ihren Soldaten im Nahkampf an Ort und Stelle attackiert wird, soll Keine Möglichkeit mehr haben, einen anderen Angriff durchführen zu können. Und es wäre auch nett gewesen, wenn mich das Spiel auf diese "Logik" hingewiesen hätte, wenn es schon der Fall ist und Realismus ignoriert. Jetzt verliere ich wahrscheinlich nicht nur die Runde, nein meine Dienstakte wird wegen dieser Sache auch noch versaut... :teufel_helmi:

So for different examples - I have a game where I'm on week 2 and a country has already nearly THREE TIMES more provinces than the next country (#2) while sitting on a safe 70%+ morale despite some people organizing to mass declare-war on him as punishment for GM use (as I understood). Another game I had a similar situation where one massive GM user basically skyrocketed to dominate half the map while no one else was even remotely close to that goal.

In the first case, the player already had a large air force and lots of artillery by day 10, when most players did not even have their first artillery piece. Don't say that people have to win by skill and tactics because there is very little any country nearby (which were smaller by factors of 3-6) could have done with just infantry or small artillery forces.

By the time the special unit situation is equalized - the dominant player already has countless powerful armies and forces of artillery, tanks, fighters, and bombers, while also having a navy. No one can even hope to muster anything close to his strength.

How is this fair? Why are there no spending limits? I have bought Goldmarks plenty of times myself before, I like this game and like supporting it. However, there is a question of how far you bring this. I mostly have used my GMs early game to just boost morale of newly-conquered provinces and get artillery to use against AI (without using it against a player until a few days in).

In this case, we're talking about someone who owns more land than half the active players and has an unbeatable army. Why is this considered fair? This is quite literally how pay-to-win is defined. He is a new player, his victory is because of the Goldmarks and the large army that comes with it. Not any personal merit of any sort. Everyone next to him is getting wiped out by an air force of a large size, while no one else even has a single plane because it's so early in the game. It's just mind-boggling.

The game is clearly made for paying consumers, not for the enjoyment of everyone. You can very directly buy your way to victory. Any claims of being able to use skill in a 500 player game sound ridiculous given the advantages that enough money will bring you in the very important early game phase.

This Player will order his/her RG's to move, then he/she disables the Railway to slow down my perusing men, however his/her RG does not stop.
