how to make an army

I'm totally lost here and hope someone can help. I am quite new to this so I don't understand the military side yet. I've been trying stuff out in a all ai game as everyone's left except 1 other. So I've been finding

I have 60 inf against 30 inf I usually win with 10 left or so depending on fortress I presume

I attack with 4 artillery and 8 infantry with say 10 infantry in-between an enemy city with an army of 20 infantry, my artillery disappears, I presume kia

I attack with 20 troops and 2 tanks against an AI city with 13 troops they wiped me out

Balloons and planes seem ineffective

So now I'm at a loss what I've to do, why train other units lol? the last player left is winning against the AI at a rate of 10:1 and I'm not even breaking even. Is it a large army made up of different units kept together I need or what am I doing wrong?

Hir mit möchte ich ein vorschlag machen das mann gegen rohstoffe und silber taller von Inaktiven spielrn Truppen und Provinzen kaufen kann. begründung wenn dise spieler tage oder wochen fern bleiben und nicht spielen sollte es möglich sein seine truppen dadurch auf zustocken und auch seine Land masse zu vergrößern das ist besser als unsinige Krige anzufangen,

würde mich echt freuen wenn das eingeführt wird. Danke. :)

Todos meus aliados inativos entraram em guerra contra meu Estado.

Pois é, senhores... Eu viajei sexta por volta da metade do dia e retornei nas últimas horas do domingo. Quando cheguei em casa, entrei no supremacy, pois sou viciado no jogo 1554638, cuido muito bem do meu país, porém, quando entrei, todos os países com quem eu tinha aliança e que eram inativos (apesar que, tinha um país que partilhava mapa comigo e mesmo assim entrou em guerra comigo) entraram em guerra comigo. Quando eu loguei, estava em guerra contra cinco países. Minha moral desceu, perdi províncias, recursos (tanto em número quanto em produção por hora) pontos, tropas, visão do mapa, dinheiro e tempo, né...

O que vale o questionamento, é que quando eu retornei de viajem um jogador que, é eminente que em um dia entrará em guerra contra mim, e que estava inativo por umas semanas, voltou a jogar. Quando eu voltei ele estava ativo e eu estava em guerra contra todos, não sei se tem o dedo ele no meio, porém é válido o questionamento...


Então, na mesma hora que eu vi este problema eu tentei entrar em contrato com o suporte e denunciei o jogador, porém está quase acabando o dia (no jogo, ao menos) de terça-feira e eu entrei em contato por dois modos e até agora não obtive solução, alguém pode me ajudar ? Porque eu estou em uma ladeira e só consigo rolar mais rápido ainda....

Impossibilité,de séparer les troupes

Salut a tous,

Comme le titre l'indique cela fait plus d'une semaine que je ne peux pas séparer mes troupes ( partie 1757472) ce qui me fait perdre enormement en puissance, par exemple plus aucun interet d'avoir de l'attillerie quand les centaines d'infanterie qui sont avec doivent combattre au corps a corps.
Suis-je un cas isolé? Car je n'ai aucun retour, malgré la réponse supposée au dela des 72h, et aucun temoignage dans ce sens.

PS: peut etre est ce un cheat aussi, je ne veux pas lancer de pierre mais mes ennemis (joueurs) apparaissent et disparaissent de la map en un clin d'oeil.
Je suis aussi tombé sur une troupe ennemie (IA) invincible priori, impossible de voir le nombre de troupes mais seulement un "?", alors que ce territoire est en fin de vie et que je l'ai enchainé de tirs de croiseurs pendant plusieurs heures.

PS2: je ne peux pas non plus choisir ma cible lorsque j'en ai plusieurs a proximité avec une unité d'attaque a distance.

Merci de faire quelque chose car je prenais à prendre goût au jeu, mais si c'est pour jouer dans un nid de bug/cheat, c'est tout de suite moins intéressant.

Problema al construir fabricas

Hace mas de 3 dias mas o menos me toco ser alto mando en la rulta por 2 días, aproveche y puse colas de construcción en mis provincias. Puse fabricas para que se construyan en 3 de mis provincias en cuanto empieze el dia 8. Resulta que el alto mando se me terminó antes del cambio de día y ahora me encuentro con el problema de que cuando quiero construir las fabricas se me bloquea el boton de construir (no puedo apretarlo) porque dice que se estan construyendo cuando eso no es verdad, esto solo pasa con las fabricas, porque puedo poner a construir cualquier edificación menos esa. Por favor resuelvan esto, le estoy dando cada vez mas ventaja a mis enemigos a cada hora que pasa.

Bug ou cheat?

je subis pas mal de bugs ou de cheat (on ne sait jamais), et justement le doute s'avère encore plus important car en arrivant dans une phase critique de guerre, tous les joueurs se joignent à la coalition adverse. Jusqu'ici tout va bien je suis bon joueur, mais ce qui est surprenant c'est que même les joueurs inactifs de longue date, s'y sont joint (sans avoir fait de réapparition sur la map).
La partie est toujours la 1757472.
Merci d'avance pour les explications.

Durante el fin de semana, muchos de vosotros habéis sufrido problemas relacionados con el servidor en las relaciones diplomáticas entre jugadores. Mientras que no hemos sido capaces de devolver todos los países a su estado original hemos trabajado arduamente para entregar las siguientes soluciones a errores que deberían poner vuestros juegos de vuelta al ruedo.

- Las partidas de equipos/coalición han sido reajustadas a su estado correcto/predeterminado. No habrán más reinicios.

- Las partidas creadas entre el sábado por la tarde y el domingo por la tarde (=bug de embargo comercial: todos los países tenían embargo comercial) han sido reajustadas a paz. Una vez más, los equipos/coaliciones han sido devueltos a su estado correcto/predeterminado.

- Las partidas recién creadas funcionarán con normalidad.

Curiosità riguardo la partita a 500 giocatori

Benchè gioco da 3 anni sono sul Forum da poco tempo, e uesto è la prima discussione che inizio, perciò, se sbaglio qualcosa, ditemi pure.
Volevo iniziare con una domanda semplice: perchè la Galizia è così scelta (intendo nelle partite da 500 giocatori)?
Nel senso, mi è capitato un giocatore tra i primi 100 (izir, se non vado errato) che aveva tirato sù una nazione che rispetto alle altre era molto più grossa, cioè, a poco assistivo a questo che ha Francia, Spagna e Africa Nordoccidentale in 40/50 giorni di gioco. Ma non solo lui, mi sono capitati anche nelle altre 4 partite da 500 che ho fatto fin'ora: 2 erano diventati grossi e avevano fatto coalizioni e altri 2 che sono andati avanti un po' ma poi sono stati eliminati, pur stando nei posti più alti della classifica. Insomma, la domanda è come mai il "win-rate" dei giocatori di questa nazione è così alto.

[RPU] 1914 - The Great War

1914: The Great War


Overview:
The First World War was arguably the first modern conflict in history and most certainly the first global war in history. Lasting from July 28, 1914 to November 11, 1918, it would end with the fall of three empires and provide the foundations for the second. 17 million people, including 7 million civilians would die. The war was ultimately caused by the complex system of alliances in Europe along with tensions between the Great Powers. The fire was finally lit when Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian Serb, fatally shot the heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire on June 28, 1914. The death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie, would be the reason that the world would go to the deadliest war that had ever been seen.

Note: German Canada and Arabia do not exist in a game context, they are only here to balance the German economy because it’s pretty poor for such an important nation. They cannot be attacked and for the most part will not have upgrades. They do contribute to the troop count, however.

Special Rules
To emulate the nature of warfare in this era, I have come up with a couple of gameplay ideas to enhance realism and show the tactics and strategy of the era.

The Convoy System
This is a way to show the submarine warfare of the time. Although this rule may seem to just benefit the Central Powers, it is an integral part of the conflict and will give some focus to naval combat.

If two countries do not share a land border, then direct trades are only possible when at least one infantry unit moves from one country to another. The nationality of this unit is unimportant. There must be one unit of infantry transferred for every 5000 tons of goods traded. The unit does not need to make a round trip. France and Britain are considered to share a land border in this case.

The Colony of Newfoundland does not count as a British territory for this rule.

Example:
The USA wishes to trade 15,000 oil to the British. Three infantry units travel from New York to London and the trade is complete. If the units were destroyed by submarines, the trade cannot take place.

Artillery Combat

In the First World War, the majority of casualties were inflicted by artillery. In game, artillery represent a heavy battery and the numbers available to each side are relatively low. Where possible, artillery can only fire on bodies of infantry, not other artillery. Artillery must move as its own unit where possible and cannot have a guard attached.

Aerial Warfare

The First World War was the first use of armed aircraft in combat. From their uses as an artillery spotter they soon developed into offensive weapons themselves and the fighter plane was born. To show this, artillery can fire on enemy artillery if a friendly aircraft is patrolling over the enemy artillery.

For example: Germany has an aircraft patrolling over the French artillery. Germany can now direct fire on to the French artillery as long as the German aircraft is patrolling. The French artillery cannot fire upon the Germans unless an aircraft of their own is patrolling over the German units. The French can attack the German aircraft with their own planes to prevent the Germans from shelling the artillery.

Note: I know that this will not always be enforceable due to varying server times so some movement of artillery may be necessary to escape. Try to fulfil these requirements to the best of your ability but mistakes do happen. Balloons are also useable but must be moved separately to infantry. Fighters can attack balloons.

Aircraft cannot be used to attack ground units. They did historically but on this scale, the effect is non-existent.

Trench Warfare and the Front Line

The archetypal image of the First World War is the mud and stagnation of the Western Front and this feature aims to replicate this. On the Western Front, there will (or should be) not a lot of captured provinces and instead the fighting would take place on the roads. The model is this; players will have three sets of troops on the roads. The forward troops (maybe 15 – 25,000) are the front-line units, the artillery is a distance behind them and the reserve line behind that. The idea is that big enemy offensives can be seen (as happened historically) and that fighting remains some fluidity without losing provinces and the cycle of rotation has to occur. Frontline units under heavy bombardment will not stay in good condition for long!
This should be replicated on all roads and the cities may find themselves in the middle of the front line. Due to the more rapid nature of warfare on the Eastern Front this is less likely to occur.

Economic Limits

Harbours and Railroads: Available wherever factories can be built.

Barracks: No limits

Factories: Nation specific limits will apply but see attached map for placement.

Aerodromes: Nation specific limits will apply. Can be built wherever factories can.

Forts: Max level one unless otherwise indicated. Capitals can have a level three fort.

Military Limits


Infantry: No limits but the burden of production is on the country itself so some will find it harder than others to recruit

Artillery: Nation specific

Cavalry: Where cavalry is mentioned in the nation page, consider it to also mean Armoured
Cars, you can have a mix of either. Nation specific

Fighters: Nation specific

Balloons: 1 per 10 infantrymen.

Tanks: Nation specific. Can only be built when at Limited War or 1916 – whatever comes first.

Battleships: Nation specific. Cannot be built after the war begins

Light Cruisers: Nation specific

Please note that Railguns, Heavy Tanks and Bombers will be banned for the entirety of this RP.


Admin Rules

There will be an admin player who all nations will need to have Share Map with. This is to enforce unit limits and for event creation.


Event Rules
From time to time, there will be an admin post that contains an event for the RP. These events are key points in the war and may involve a new offensive, another nation joining the war or another significant outcome. Please RP out the events to the fullest able.

EVENT: THE GALLIPOLI CAMPAIGN
Theatre: Middle East
In 1915, the Allied high command had the idea that Germany’s allies were propping up the Germans and that if the allies were removed then Germany would fall faster. It was put forward by the First Lord of the Admiralty, Winston Churchill that a naval force could attempt to bombard the forts on the Dardanelles Strait and thus get the Ottoman Empire to surrender and open the Black Sea to the Russians.
Options for Britain and France
Option A: Begin the Naval attack
Option B: Begin an amphibious landing first
Option C: Discard the plan and do nothing.

If option A or B are chosen, the Ottoman Empire may build a level 4 fort in Constantinople. Great Britain and France may either attempt a landing or bombard Constantinople based on their decision.

Note that there are countries that can choose what occurs. This shows which side has the impetus and will be kept historically accurate.

War Level Rules


To simulate the increasing intensity of the First World War, there will be a War Level. There are three levels; mobilisation, limited war and total war. Each nation will have different unit limits based on what their War Level is. War Level also allows for more nations to enter on one side or another but gaining War Level is not without its cost. Certain event responses can add to a nation’s war level but the main mechanism is through taking casualties. For every 10,000 troops killed, a nation’s War Level increases by one so bringing in more allies and better units comes with a substantial price. War Level starts at 0 and maxes out at 25.

The War Level boundaries will be listed on admin posts and are also below:
Start: 0
Mobilisation: 1 – 4
Limited War: 5 – 15
Total War: 16 – 25

There will be a combined War Level for each major alliance (Allies and Central Powers) and the level that a nation needs to join a certain side is listed on their nation page. Please note that a nation’s War Level is its own and that the Alliance War Level only affects nation entry.

Timescale Changes

Please note that the timescales may change when major battles are underway. There will be an admin post about it and the limits on buildings will be explained there.

There will be no coalitions for this round. This is because the French and the British could not see everything that the Russians could and vice versa. So, share map privileges can only be afforded to states which share a land border. Britain and France are considered to share a land border in this case. Right of Way privileges have no restrictions.

Grossolano Errore

Buonasera a tutti

Vorrei far notare alla Community di Supremacy1914 un fastidioso eppur grossolano errore in cui sono incorsi i GM svariate volte riguardo la bandiera che sono solito utilizzare (allegherò al post).
La bandiera in questione è quella del Principato di Zeon, del famoso anime giapponese Gundam 0079, e dunque nulla ha a che fare con regimi totalitari come Nazismo, Fascismo o Comunismo.
Sono già stato segnalato svariate volte da utenti per la mia bandiera e posso comprendere l'ignoranza (in quanto non conoscenza) dei giocatori, ma trovo quantomeno discutibile il fatto che i GM non si prendano nemmeno la briga di controllare se la bandiera è veramente ricollegabile a regimi totalitari come quelli sopracitati.
Chiedo che venga portata all'attenzione dei GM questa faccenda in quanto trovo ridicolo venir sanzionato per violazioni che non ho compiuto.
