Dear Generals,

last December the Supremacy Traffic Office had announced large-scale renovations on the major roads of Europe. Since that time more construction sites occured that put the patience of our generals to the test. Fortunately, we can report now that the construction work was finished and many routes have ben cleared from roadblocks. This also applies to many routes overseas. Now you can finally make a "holiday visit" to your neighbours together with your tank battalion. We wish you a pleasant journey!

Moreover, there are also numerous improvements this week. Here are the details:
- Elimination of broken paths on many maps.
- Elimination of bugs and implementation of user feedback on the 500 player map.
- Text in the chat can now be copied with CTRL + C without jumping to the capital.
- The team ranking is no longer displayed when no Team game is played.
- The display of the South America map in the newspaper has been fixed.
- In the army split window four-digit numbers are displayed correctly now.
- Armies are sorted correctly in the trade window again.
- Messages are not sent to the wrong player in some situations anymore.
- A note regarding prohibited names has been added in the player profiles.
- On past days the correct country colors appear in the newspaper again.
- Content in the newspaper will now be loaded when scrolling down to improve the load times.
- The army strength is now displayed correctly even when units on the water are in the selection.
- A case has been fixed where the Goldmark cost of buying resources was displayed as 0.
- Users who are affected by the Chrome display bug now get a popup with suggested solutions. Sidenote: The bug will be fixed in Chrome version 52.
- With the guest login no applications can be sent to coalitions anymore.
- Applications for coalitions can now be accepted again after a leader change.
- When a premium account expires the diplomacy settings for coalition members now remain on shared intelligence.
- Elimination of a bug that a player could belong to 2 coalitions.

As always with map updates they should have no impact on ongoing matches. Should this not be the case we apologize for the inconvenience. For games which are opened after the update everything should be fine.
Missing Player statistics of recent days have also been added for the most part this week.

We hope you like the improvements this!

Obras en la carretera 2

Queridos Generales,

500 Player Map: Morale - Distance from Capital

$

Hi Guys, This is my first post on the forums, and I only came back to this game because of the 500 player map email I think we all got.

I am playing in game 1382607 and doing really well as Eastern Cape.

The problem is that, When I started off as eastern cape and took out most of the other South African countries my morale was great, Distance form capital was manageable. Now that I have just started taking out Oman/ Yemen area, the distance form capital is -35% morale, I move my capital towards the middle of my country and then its still between -39% and -30% on the outer sides of my country.
In a map where you almost encourage people to expand and build a massive nation, with areas on other continents, this morale loss almost makes it where its not viable. I know there is a limit on max morale loss, by the looks of it it is 39%.

I have a province in AUS - 6.2 days away from capital -39%.
I have a province 2.8 days away also -39%.

This -39% is too easy to get to and when you couple it with the fact that once you get to day 60/70 you will be going to war with other coalitions that is another 20 to 25% morale loss.

We had a country who got to 500 provinces and he was at war with 5 people, almost overnight his morale plummeted when Gas and Oil was limited in the market. To such an extent that he has now just been taken out entirely by me and others.

I am also worried that Europe and other close nations are able to maintain their morale easier as the distance is closer, although I am sure Supremacy would have done something about that.

Am I missing a major mechanic to limit that 39%? I know buildings do increase morale but that is a massive money sink for limited gains.

They really, in my opinion, didnt change that morale loss form the smaller maps, It needs to be changed on the bigger maps.

Thanks for listening to my rant and I hope I can learn from the replies =)

No "Attack" Command Button; At-war units not engaged in combat

Game# 1465519 "World In Flames"

The stack management pop-up contains the "March" and "Split" command buttons but not the "Attack" command button.

Also, I (Russian Empire) have been at-war with AI Russian Perm and have been previously engaged in combat and recently captured Russian Perm's capital of Perm.

However, now my stack (CM3) and their stack (EW1) are both located at Perm, are not in combat, and I have passed back and forth past (EW1) a number of times without combat.

Neither stack is a "ghost", I can see the # of units & morale of both. We do not have RoW. We *are* at war.

https://gyazo.com/376c4906e41625a566d331161105e755

Note:

I was able to partially resolve the issue by splitting (CM3).
The new unit ID engaged with (EW1). I then split (CM3) again, and again, and again.
Each new unit ID engaged in combat with (EW1).

Apparently, there's something about (CM3) that won't engage with (EW1).

When all these new units are recombined (CM15); (CM15) becomes the unit ID that won't engage with (EW1). Re-splitting, once again, creates units that will engage with (EW1).

This screenshot shows (CM15); which was created by splitting (CM3) into smaller units and then recombined, won't engage in combat with (EW1) even though units split from (CM15) are in combat with (EW1).
