I'm pretty new, still partway through my first 2 games. (This also means I'm using the html interface, fwiw.)
I did use some goldmark intentionally, especially at first when I didn't know much about what I was doing. I try not to usually. But this isn't intended to be about the good or bad of that ...
The reason I'm posting ... over recent weeks, I have used a few thousand goldmark ... accidentally. I wouldn't even have any at this point if not for getting a few from the wheel.
Do others have this issue, or am I just "special" in that regard? I know sometimes when I've done it I blamed myself for just being too fast/sloppy in my clicking. However at other times, most recently just minutes ago, I blame the kludgy interface. In this case I have no idea how it actually happened ... but I spent 1000GM to speed production of ... a level 1 workshop. At first I thought it was just going to be one of those cases where the order to build it didn't really take due to laggy/glitchy communications with the server (I'm sure other people have to repeat commands sometimes?) because I saw that it wasn't building and counting down. Then I realized that it was already done, even faster than it should have been ... and then noticed an indication that I had spend goldmark.
Anyway, I'm not really complaining too much about the loss of the goldmark or anything ... just wondering if I'm the only one who does this.
