In today’s update we are addressing some points many of you may have encountered when playing Supremacy 1914. We are introducing a ‘majority factor’ to improve the probability of long range units destroying a single infantry unit. We are also improving defense chances against split up armies.
The new balancing updates are meant to improve the defense of long range units which could have been tricked by some maneuvers until now.
First of all, the ‘majority factor’ increases the chances of multiple long range units to destroy single infantry units.
Secondly, every army receives an additional attack in case it destroys all units at a given position. The army won’t have to wait another hour to strike again but can attack again one minute later. This will mainly improve the chances against split-up armies attacking in short intervals. If someone sends an army which is destroyed by a long range unit, the long range unit can immediately (one minute later) defend itself against the next attacker.
Besides these balancing updates, we have also localized the blacklists for our chat in those countries where we already have a country specific blacklist.
Finally, we have fixed some bugs, especially the client freezing in some cases when too many provinces were selected in the province panel. We have also improved the responsiveness of the spy panel when you add or remove a spy.
