With the big TV hit of Walking Dead, and new movies coming out like Z World the zombie culture is having a huge rebirth and popularity..
I know - it's a little out in left hand field - but it will add a completely different experience with little extra coding and could be a huge GOLD MARK market for you guys since people want will want to play for themselves something that is so different and it could be a GOLD MARK SCENARIO ONLY game. So everytime someone plays you gain 5,000 GM per person. Even if you make it a limited time scenario (for example only available to start on october month - though I think year around would be better)
This is how simple it could be created - and I think it might draw a crowd...
You do not need any new units...
You do not need any new maps...
Have one to four AI positions start the game as infected with the zombie virus.
What this means is that these AI's are allied with each other at start (perminately) and are automatically at war with everyone else.
Also these selected AI positions will be banned from construction of any kind.
But in every city they control they produce 1 infantry unit per hour. (They do not need a recruiting center or a barracks - just a city - one per hour.)
All upgrades to any city that is taken by one of these Zombie AI is destroyed and removed from the city. Making each city in ruins when they are recaptured.
They should be the smart AI's not the basic ones..
So the more cities these zombie AI control the move zombies per hour is produced until they just swarm the map.
To win the players simply need to eleminate any infected city - and build it for themselves.
All other rules to the standard Supremacy game appiles to all players. They can ally with each other or fight each other - but the major enemy is this expanding nation of zombie AI.
Only Coding Needed for short:
1) Selected AI can not build anything
2) Selected AI produces one infantry every hour in every city they control
3) Selected AI starts game in a non-changing diplomatic state of war with all players
4) Any city controlled by Selected AI will be striped of all upgrades
With these four modifications I think you would be able to bring a little extra excitement to a new way to play World War 1 Zombie Invation.
