Mac/Java Solution

Mac Community of Supremacy, we have found the fix to the problem. We can play the game once more. I would like to thank jstein80 for giving me a link to the fix.

I've done some research and it seems Apple has put in a program that blocks Java. What the link I found tells us is how to delete that program. Here's what you want to do:

Open Finder and then go to your Hard Drive(Mine says Macintosh HD). Go to System>Library>CoreServices. In CoreServices you want to find CoreTypes.bundle and right click on it. Then click on "Show Package Contents." Go into the Contents folder and then the Resources folder. In there you want to find Xprotect.meta.plist and delete it. Your games should run perfectly from that.

I'm no computer expert, so I am unsure if this will affect your Mac in any way or make it any less safe(I think this program was just added so it shouldn't be any different than before, but don't quote me on that). It seems like the program will be re-build if you reboot your computer(exactly how I first got it), so you will need to repeat these steps every time you reboot or go to System Preferences>Security and from there uncheck "Automatically update safe downloads list."

For any issues or questions you may want to check out the link to the Apple thread and discuss them there. Trust me, I have no more answers than you do.

Have a great time playing Supremacy and I apologize for any inconvenience this update may have caused you.
