In Flight Target Correction or AOE Damage

Currently the game will allow you to select a target and bomb it. Most will have no issue, but there is a time when you need to select a new target, BUT, your planes will return to refuel.

More experienced players take advantage of a little known tactic splitting off the main force to create a new army all together leaving your air units to attack single unit, not very effective, also, very annoying. I.e your planes attack G129, enemy splits the stack to leave 1 unit in G129 to create G130, leaving them free from damage, your planes kill the 1 unit but take the damage from the original stack in the AOE area.

I agree it's a tactic, but its not a tactic, not one that logically or practically make sense in real world, many players use this little trick to avoid damage from air units on the offense, and most don't know about this little trick in the game, it gives huge advantages over others who don't know.

One of two things, I propose that you can make in flight corrections to target the original stack.

OR;

Just as there is an area that your planes will take damage from surrounding units in the bubble, those units should also take damage in that area, an AOE.

First option, will require you to be online to make the adjustment, which most won't be on or don't know they can split the stay away from the target.

Second option, won't require you to be on, and give fighters AOE as well.

*EDIT*
Maastrict brought up the fact that planes are immediately visible when they launch. A fix could be added where they will remain hidden, in forts level 2 or higher. They wouldn't appear until the flight is seen in the white area when you see the actual numbers.

This would be a good simple easy fix.
