Okay, so I have heard a lot about these controversial islands in the WiF map, but I think it could mean something. Illuminati confirmed....just kidding. :cool:
In fact these islands do not even exist. You do not get any searches upon typing the Gunther Islands.
If you look a little bit more into the surface of this below Sri Lanka, West of Africa AI nation in the real life map, you do find some landmass areas that do prove that the Gunther Islands, while being completely made up for the sake of the map, do actually exist by another name.
My first search was about an oversea's port called Diego Garcia. It made complete sense as this area is a strategic threshold that like the UK uses, keeping them very much the naval power in the Indian Ocean. Just if you are to make RP's make sure the Gunther's go to the UK if you have a landswap ;)
But if you are not into this whole, "Naval base" island, then perhaps you want a Margerita in your hand and want to rest on the beach. Then come with me!
Ever since you have been bombarding the Gunther islands and invading these little specs on the WiF map, you may have actually been killing a bunch of rich villagers listening to "Do you like Pina Colada's" on repeat.
Yes, I am not kidding, the Gunther Islands could actually be the Maldives. While this island nation is a complete resort, it could be the secret land that Bytro used to legitimize this area of the world. So sip up your cocktail and make sure to stop by and invade the resort today!
But seriously, take whatever you want from the Gunther islands. It is a special AI area and should stay to whatever roleplay you want, or however you see the landmass that is always between you and Asia/Australia when you try to move your giant navy through the Indian Ocean :lol:
