News:
We are currently looking for starting and substitute players for the Alliance Tournament.
Introduction:
Perfidious Acts of War (PAWs) was started by the most active members of the now dissolved alliance Dojo of Abu Huraira (DOAH). We took what we learned from our time in DOAH to form what we believe to be the best structure for a competitive alliance.
Alliance Structure:
The alliance consists of three captains (General Auer, iug, and miech) and a pool of players. The captains have the ability to challenge or accept challenges from other alliances. Each time they do, they will ask for four volunteers to accompany them in the challenge game. In some instances, the captain can build, or partially build a team to best combat certain challengers. This structure for our alliance allows us to play a large number of challenge games against other alliances. There is no limit to how many challenge games a member can be playing at once. With three captains, there are typically two or three challenges running at a time. A member can be a part of one, two, three, or none of those games, depending on their desired level of activity as well as real life issues.
The alliance also holds many internal games to allow our members to play and learn from each other. The specifics of each internal game can be made upon request from members.
Alliance Rules:
1. Having Skype is mandatory to be in this alliance, with no exceptions. Skype is how we organize ourselves as well as share news, get to know each other, and discuss strategy during challenge games.
2. Being active is mandatory to be in this alliance. It is understandable that everyone will have varying levels of activity. However, frequent extended periods of inactivity will result in a member’s removal from the alliance. Also, not taking part in any challenge games or internal games will result in removal.
3. There is no GM use allowed in any of our challenge or internal games.
Joining Us:
If you wish to join us, please send a message to General Auer, iug, or miech in addition to submitting an application on our alliance page.
