Doesn´t seem all that professional when there is a ban on chat every 3 minutes, for the lamest reasons too. The rules should be eased up because this powerhungry-ness and abuse is kind of pathetic. I´m not speaking out of personal smite, I dont use the chat but I read through it eitherway. Another thing I´ve seen time and time again is the lack of notice nor warnings from the mods, This needs to be changed.
Stupid reasons for banning:
-Typing in all caps yet not spamming
-disagreeing with a mod over something minor gets your banned
-When someone
types
like this because
they are a noob
and dont know
a lot about this game
or that it is wrong to
type like this
and that they are just asking questions
to learn and one day be good at S1914
That up there gets you banned for spam without warning and no such help from the mods.
-for not speaking good english (I agree with the english only rule but when someone is trying hard to speak english he gets a ban)
Overall, I do not wish to see this thread closed because the mods would say "we do not discuss bans in public" but this isnt about someone specific, and about 80% of the reasons have been listed above for the sole purpose of disussion. Should these rules be changed? Maybe the mods should be reeducated in banning comments of bad intention rather then the comments of good intention. Or perhaps a mod needs to learn what is spam and what isn't spam. Most of the time they act like 15 year olds who are given admin power for the first time, banning people because it makes them feel stronger about themselves instead of banning people for the sake of justice.
